Watch Eric Fisher take on Von Miller...in the outdoors

Carhartt hosted the AFC West division rivals for a battle of the wilderness.

Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Eric Fisher and Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller recently met in Northern New Mexico as part of Carhartt’s Back to the Land series (watch above, on YouTube or scroll down for the spoiler).

The two Pro Bowlers are quite familiar with one another, as they battle twice a year on the football field on Sundays, but this was a unique opportunity to compete off the field in the wilderness.

Fisher and Miller faced off in three different challenges—fishing, archery and cooking—and as probably expected, all three events were needed to determine the winner. Miller’s father makes an appearance to coach him during the cooking contest.

The two joke about playing the New England Patriots, and at one point, Fisher reminded Miller about the Chiefs overtime victory in 2016 when Cairo Santos doinked the game-winner in overtime.

I’m a big fan of this video—it is a nice reminder that we may watch NFL players on TV and their every move on social media, but at the end of the day, they are humans like anybody else.

SPOILER ALERT

Fisher narrowly takes home the fishing exercise, but Miller wins the archery competition on the final shot and outcooks Fisher to take home the Carhartt championship belt.
