As Caplan notes, that leaves three quarterbacks on the roster behind starter Patrick Mahomes: Chad Henne, Chase Litton and Kyle Shurmur.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Wagner product joined the Chiefs as part of their initial 17-player undrafted free agent class. The Chiefs now have one open spot on the 90-man roster.
