The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players in advance of their game against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The big story, of course, is that Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark will play against the Patriots, after being listed as questionable on the Friday injury report. Clark was a limited practice participant on Wednesday — listed with a shoulder injury at that time — but did not practice on Thursday or Friday because of an illness.

Reserve safety Jordan Lucas was also sick this week — and also listed as questionable in the final injury report after being held of our practice — but will be available to play on Sunday.

Running back Damien Williams — along with cornerbacks Morris Claiborne and Rashad Fenton — were declared out in the final injury report on Friday, so their presence on in the inactive list6 is not a surprise. Running back Darrel Williams is no longer on the active roster, having been placed on injured reserve on Thursday.

Offensive linemen Nick Allegretti and Jackson Barton are both healthy scratches — along with tight end Deon Yelder and third backup quarterback Chad Henne. There are no healthy scratches of defensive players for this game.

For the Patriots, Cowart and Karras had already been declared out for the game. None of the six players listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report are on the inactive list. All of New England’s star players will be available.
