Each practice day, the Kansas City Chiefs will release an official injury report leading up to the next game. The Chiefs take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium Sunday at 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:

Some notes:

  • As we found would be the case early Wednesday, four Chiefs missed practice to start the week — CB Morris Claiborne, CB Rashad Fenton, RB Damien Williams and RB Darrel Williams. The injury report confirmed Andy Reid’s press conference words.
  • Both running backs missing practice might be why the Chiefs opted to bring Spencer Ware back. DE Frank Clark (shoulder) was a limited participant.
  • Only two Patriots missed practice to begin the week on Wednesday.
