With the conclusion of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, much of the Kansas City Chiefs roster has departed for the bye week. That has led to some additional free time for other members of the organization, including the Chiefs’ equipment staff.
I will go on the record in saying that Christmas (decorations and movies, included) doesn’t start for me until after Thanksgiving, but I couldn’t help but love this video from the Chiefs equipment staff posted on Tuesday.
The clip begins with longtime head equipment director Allen Wright sleeping in his office, only to be awakened by an assistant, Chris Shropshire. The video quickly turns into a parody of the holiday movie Home Alone.
As of this writing, the video has more than 150,000 views on Twitter and more than 30,000 on TikTok.
Gonna tell my kids this was the original Home Alone https://t.co/ocDgVjYjdF pic.twitter.com/qYCCLOtSkw
