According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry is expected to play this Sunday in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots.

As you’ll recall, the week before the divisional round game against the Indianapolis Colts started out with a hopeful sign for Berry, when he was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday’s practice. But he did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, was listed as questionable for the game, and did not play.

This week’s news is encouraging, with Berry listed as a full participant on both Wednesday and Thursday, With this report from Rapaport, it’s another sign that Berry could be on the field for Sunday’s game.

But as we have learned this season, Berry’s status can change quickly. We will keep you posted.
