Dee Ford is two years older at the age of 27 but has 25 sacks over his last three seasons—while missing 11 games. Improving and smack in the middle of his prime, Ford is going to probably drive up a bidding war and get the same amount as Clowney.

The Jets have plenty of cap space and a need for an edge rusher like Ford, but the Chiefs can use a franchise tag to keep Ford off the open market and won’t be making moves on any front until they’ve joined Adams in starting the offseason.

Murray was a first-round draft pick by the Oakland Athletics in the 2018 MLB draft. In the past several days, various reports indicated the A’s were attempting to woo Murray toward baseball and away from entering the NFL.

So a win in Super Bowl LIII two weeks later would give Reid what I’m going to call an NFL Triple Crown.

The Chiefs have played two games in which it was 1 degree at kickoff—2016 against the Titansand in 1983 against the Denver Broncos.

If the temperature winds up being “well below zero,” as Schefter described above, it would indeed be the coldest game in the stadium’s history.
