It looks like Eric Berry will be held out of the game against the Chargers Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their official injury report headed into their game Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As expected, Chiefs starting safety Eric Berry will in all likelihood be held out of the game.

The Chiefs’ younger safeties like Eric Murray and Armani Watts, as well as veteran returnee Ron Parker will be asked to step up in Berry’s place.

“He’s OK,” Reid said of Parker when asked if he is ready to go. “He got enough practice time during training camp for [Atlanta] that he’s in good shape. He’ll be fine and he knows what we’re doing, so that’s not a problem.”
