The chart, released by the Chiefs’ PR department, is considered “unofficial.”

The Kansas City Chiefs released their first (unofficial) depth chart on Monday, and on it appeared somewhat of a surprise. Andrew Wylie, not Cam Erving, is listed as the Chiefs’ starting left guard.

Erving jumps into the sixth-man role as a swing tackle.

Rounding out the offensive line, Kahil McKenzie is listed as the backup left guard, Jordan Devey and Austin Reiter are listed as backup centers in that order and Ike Boettger is listed as the backup right guard.

Our own Matt Lane reviewed Wylie in his piece, “Do the Chiefs have a starter in offensive lineman Andrew Wylie?” just a few days back.

On Monday, the Chiefs answered, “Yes.”
