45 Seconds: Everyone is getting involved in the scoring

Lead film and draft analyst Kent Swanson breaks down how Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes are using every single weapon at their disposal.

The situation Patrick Mahomes was dropped into is undeniably amazing. Andy Reid is a brilliant offensive mind who focuses on adapting the offense to fit the strengths of both the passer and the offensive weapons. Reid has the rarest group of skill players in football to dial plays up for. With Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins and Kareem Hunt at his disposal, the personnel creates a ton of problems from week to week.

Luckily for lesser targeted players like Chris Conley, Demarcus Robinson, De’Anthony Thomas, Anthony Sherman and Demetrius Harris, they’ve benefited from the talent around them. All players mentioned to this point in the article have scored a touchdown in the mere three-week sample size of the 2018 season.

This week, it was Harris who was given a few opportunities in or near the red zone. Let’s take a look at a couple of the plays that Harris was targeted for a chance to score.
