Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes opened up the season with 33-to-1 odds to win the NFL MVP award with 15 players ahead of him, according to Bovada.

After the Chiefs’ Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mahomes’ odds improved to 12 to 1, or fourth best, only behind Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
