Yes, Andy Reid says Eric Berry is still day-to-day

We continue to monitor the condition of Berry’s heel, which kept him out of the Week 1 game against the Chargers.

Tuesday will mark one month since Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has participated in practice with the team.

Although he made the trip to Los Angeles for the game against the Chargers on Sunday, Berry has not seen action since he was injured in the Week 1 game against the New England Patriots last season — which means that it’s now been a full calendar year.

While Berry has recovered from the season-ending Achilles injury he suffered last season, he has been kept on the sidelines for the last month because of a sore heel — which Andy Reid has repeatedly characterized as a day-to-day injury.

Reid said Monday it will likely be Wednesday before we know anything further.

“Let me get through [Monday] and [Tuesday], and I’ll probably have a better idea (presumably on Wednesday). When I tell you it’s day to day with him, it’s day to day right now so let’s just see where he’s at and how he feels. We’ll keep you up on it the best we can.”

As will we.
