It didn’t take long for the former Chiefs running back to find a new NFL home.

The New York Jets have announced the signing of former Chiefs running back Charcandrick West, who was released by the Chiefs on Wednesday.

You probably already knew most of this, but it’s interesting to see how the Jets encapsulated West’s career:

West spent four years with the Chiefs after going undrafted out of Abilene Christian in 2014. He appeared in six games his rookie year, but didn’t register any carries. From 2015-17, the 5’10”, 205-pounder totaled 999 yards and seven touchdowns on 266 rushes for an average of 3.8 yards per carry. West also has caught 75 balls for 552 yards and five touchdowns. For his career, West has appeared in 49 games (11 starts).

The Chiefs will not play the Jets in the regular season this year.

And by the way... Charcandrick appreciates all the accolades he’s received from Chiefs fans and pundits since his release.

Congratulations, Charcandrick. We wish you well... except when you’re playing the Chiefs!
