Chiefs’ second depth chart shows offensive line position shakeup

The chart, released by the Chiefs’ PR department, is considered “unofficial.”

The Kansas City Chiefs released the second version of their depth chart earlier this week as they get ready to take on the Atlanta Falcons on Friday night at 6 p.m. Arrowhead Time.

As a reminder, the chart is considered “unofficial,” though it is reviewed by the team before release. Here is the first version of the chart.

Offensive changes

  • Parker Ehinger is now listed as second-team left tackle; he was second-team left guard.
  • Ryan Hunter is now listed as second-team left guard; he was third-team right guard.
  • Jordan Devey is now listed as second-team center; he was second-team right guard.
  • Bryan Witzmann is now listed as second-team right guard; he was second-team right tackle.
  • Andrew Wylie is now listed as second-team right tackle; he was second-team left tackle.
  • Ethan Cooper is now listed as the third-team right guard.

Defensive changes

  • Mike Purcell is now listed as third-team nose tackle, jumping Stefan Charles.
  • Arrion Springs now listed as third-team right cornerback, was fourth left cornerback.
  • Eric Murray (now backing up Daniel Sorensen) and Leon McQuay (now backing up Eric Berry) have swapped backup spots. Robert Golden had been listed on the third team behind Murray before he left the team.
  • Armani Watts is now listed as the fourth safety behind Jordan Sterns. He was a third-team safety before.
