Report: free agent cornerback Orlando Scandrick flying to Kansas City Tuesday night

According to a report from NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Orlando Scandrick will be in Kansas City Tuesday night to talk to the Chiefs.

Scandrick, 31, is a nine-year NFL cornerback who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Released by the Cowboys after last season, he signed a two year deal with the Washington Redskins that included a $1 million signing bonus.

But now the Redskins have changed their minds:

Scandrick will now pocket the million, and look for a new home — starting with the Chiefs, who have something over $8 million publicly listed in cap space at the moment.
