Here’s the latest on the Chiefs potential signing of Bashaud Breeland. This just in from Kansas City Star reporter Brooke Pryor:
Free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is out at Chiefs camp this morning.

He’s been walking around the sideline, talking to defensive coordinator Bob Sutton
Is this a good sign? Absolutely. He’s still in town. And then there’s this, from Matt Derrick at Chiefs Digest.
We may have a Bashaud Breeland sighting. He’s here with Tim Terry, director of personnel. pic.twitter.com/i1Xg3BPVXI

From ESPN’s Adam Teicher - how’s this for tantalizing?
Bashaud Breeland stayed for the morning's entire Chiefs mini camp practice. I asked him afterward if he was going to sign with Kansas City. "There's no telling. I can't just spill the beans," he said. pic.twitter.com/TfoF9MJ9jX

And this from our own Pete Sweeney, who is on the ground in St. Joseph.
No Bashaud Breeland news quite yet, but some insight: I’m told that it would be somewhat unheard of for an agent to let a player on the field at practice without a deal being very close.

Now this from the Star’s Lynn Worthy:

Just as if he owned the place... or something.
So right now, the signs are all positive. We’ll keep you posted.
Here’s the timeline of the story so far. It all started Saturday afternoon with this tweet:
Cornerback Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Raiders on Sunday and Monday then headed to the Chiefs on Tuesday, a source said. He’s the one who signed a three-year, $24 million deal with the Panthers that was voided after he failed a physical. He’s healthy and ready to go.

Then this from Monday night:
More interest in Breeland. He has visits scheduled with the Colts and Browns this week, a source said. https://t.co/wWSmFmpVrv

Then Tuesday morning, word of a contract restructure for Spencer Ware.
Source: Chiefs RB Spencer Ware has restructured his deal, with $725K of his $1.45M base salary being converted into incentives. Ware has a very real shot at hitting those incentives and making the full $1.45M.

Tuesday morning, Carrington Harrison of The Drive on 610 Sports reported free agent Breeland was on the ground.
A source close to the team confirms to me that Bashaud Breeland is in St. Joe today, working out and hanging around the team. Adds the Chiefs don’t plan on letting him take another visit (visits planned to IND, CLE) and plan on signing him today if the medicals check out

Then Harrison had this on Tuesday evening:
Quick update on the Breeland situation: “No news is good news” and we will likely hear an update in the AM barring an unforeseen development. @610SportsKC
— Carrington Harrison (@cdotharrison) July 25, 2018
Harrison also confirmed Breeland’s next scheduled visit isn’t until Thursday.
