I thought this was one of the better questions for us to answer on Thursday night’s edition of Arrowhead Pride Radio.
Who is the biggest sleeper player on the chiefs someone other teams will look over
— buster (@red_eagles77) June 21, 2018
AP reader buster asked, “Who is the biggest sleeper on the Chiefs?”
Sean Levine: “I love that question. A guy that I guess outsiders don’t have huge expectations for, but I do. Chris Jones. He was so good his first year and last year, kind of took a step back. There’s no reason to me, Barber, that he’s not elite this year once again.”
Shawn Barber: “I’m going to go with Steven Nelson. I’m going to go with Steven Nelson man. It’s time to put up or shut up. I listened to him a couple times during the offseason. I think he’s ready to blossom and grow and be a full-time starter, a force to be reckoned with as far as our secondary, and start the no-fly zone here in KC.”
Pete Sweeney: “I like Steven Nelson. He has a chip on his shoulder this year, but my pick: you look at this offense, who do we always talk about? We talk about Sammy Watkins, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Kareem Hunt. Nobody is looking at Chris Conley. I think he’s a solid player and he’s the guy that should be what? Wide open. Chris Conley is the player to watch.”
Let’s turn it over to you, AP Nation:
