If you’re reading this, it’s safe to assume you love the Kansas City Chiefs and the community we’ve built here at Arrowhead Pride. This is your opportunity to be a bigger part of this community in a meaningful way.

Arrowhead Pride is hiring a deputy editor, a weekday evening editor, and a weekend editor. Keep reading to find out if any of these roles may be the right opportunity for you.

What are we looking for?

Deputy editor: We need someone who can help manage the site and keep up with the day-to-day demands and coverage. In addition to helping with the management of Arrowhead Pride, this person will assist with coverage and provide original content, from game recaps to opinion pieces to analysis.

Weekday evening editor: We’re looking for someone with editing skills and evening availability who’s also eager to write about the Chiefs for the site.

Weekend editor: This role is identical to the night editor job, except we need someone with weekend availability.

What skills and qualifications should you have?

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have a passion for the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • Ideally already enjoy reading, commenting, and participating in the Arrowhead Pride community.
  • Are able to produce and edit clean copy.
  • Are self-starters and comfortable meeting deadlines.
  • Are willing and able to help with Chiefs coverage on game days during the season.
  • Previous writing experience is strongly preferred.

How do you apply?

Please send a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample to SB Nation’s talent manager for team brands, Jeanna Thomas, at jeanna.thomas@sbnation.com. You can also feel free to hit Jeanna up with any questions about the position, Arrowhead Pride, or SB Nation in general.

These are contractor positions that pay monthly stipends. If your background and experience don’t perfectly align with every single thing we’re looking for, but you believe you have the potential to thrive in this role, we encourage you to apply.
