Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid provided some very brief injury updates Thursday on some of his players that missed time due to injuries during OTAs. Earlier in the day, Reid cancelled the final practice of mandatory minicamp.

C Mitch Morse (foot)

“He had a screw removed from an ankle but [he’s] making progress. Again, we’ll just see how it works out for him in the next few weeks.”

LB Dee Ford (back)

“Dee Ford should be ready for camp. Again, making progress. He worked his tail off. He was able to do a little individual stuff.”

RBs Spencer Ware (knee) and Damien Williams (undisclosed)

“We had a couple running backs that weren’t able to go--just able to do individual work, but both of them look like they’re going to be OK, Damien and Spence.

RB Kareem Hunt (hamstring strain)

“Kareem Hunt will be OK.”

WR De’Anthony Thomas (leg)

“DAT looks like he’s making progress, still not able to do much, but we’ll see how he is once we start with camp.
