Wednesday’s trade between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns was called off late Friday afternoon, as first reported by ESPN.
Source: the Dadi Nicolas-Randall Telfer trade between the Chiefs and Browns has been called off. Both players have subsequently been waived by their original teams.

The Chiefs had agreed to send linebacker Dadi Nicolas to the Browns in exchange for blocking tight end Randal Telfer. Now both players will be free agents.
The language used in the NFL’s official transaction report was “reverted per trade terms.” Creepy.
While this is strange news to begin with, what’s stranger to me is the Chiefs released TE Orson Charles on Thursday, presumably to make room in an already crowded tight end room for Telfer.
"Orson? Brett Veach here. I know we cut you yesterday, but..." https://t.co/WUieKhDBlt

The tight ends on the Chiefs roster of this writing are: Travis Kelce, Demetrius (Football) Harris, Tim Wright and Jace Amaro.
