The media asked Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid if getting to teach a young 22-year-old like Patrick Mahomes has rejuvenated him a bit on Thursday after OTAs.
Here was Reid’s response:
“I’ve mentioned this before too. I love every day I have a chance to do this. I get older, they get younger or they stay the same, it’s a crazy deal. I love every minute of it and feel very honored and privileged to have a chance to do it. Not many times in your life that you’re 1 out of 32 people in the world that have a chance to do something. You guys are in that same thing. You’re at the top of your deal being able to cover the National Football League, that’s quite an honor.”
Tom Martin of KCTV5 made a great cutup:

That sure seemed like a Dazed and Confused reference, Andy. You make the call.
