The NFL will stage the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, the league announced at its annual owners meetings in Atlanta. 10 NFL streaks that will (or won't) be snapped in 2018 season | NFL.com
THE STREAK: The Kansas City Chiefs have won 10-plus games in three straight seasons.
Will it live? No.
Why? Listen, I'm as excited about Patrick Mahomes as the next guy. But you have four games against two potential top-five defenses in the Chargers and Broncos. Kansas City's D wasn't great last year when it had Marcus Peters, so I'm not looking for the unit to improve without the stud corner. I expect the Chiefs' offense to be a fantasy delight, but it will end up on the losing end of a lot of shootouts.

Fantasy football: Is Aaron Rodgers worth drafting? | SB Nation (Fantasy Sports)
If you want to be traditional and draft running backs and wide receivers first, then address quarterback and tight end later, then finally snag a kicker and defense in the last two rounds, go for it. If you want to employ the Zero RB strategy and draft running backs way late, expecting to land the next Kareem Hunt or Alvin Kamara (hint: it’s Sony Michel this year), be my guest. If you’re a Bills fan and only want Bills players on your team, hey, you do you. (Though I would kindly ask that you pick your second favorite team as the Bills might offer the least about of fantasy talent as a team.)
Daily Dose: NFL.com Declares Rams as NFC West’s Top Force | TheRams.com
Don't necessarily expect Brandin Cooks to get the targets of a traditional No. 1 receiver. The Rams will want more production out of Cooks than Sammy Watkins gave them last year, but the yardage could still be split evenly between Cooks, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.

NFL National Anthem Policy, Owners, Roger Goodell | Sports Illustrated
The owners had been locked in discussion for almost three hours, and momentum was starting to build toward a resolution to be voted on. This, in certain circumstances, would be when NFL commissioner Roger Goodell would take command of the room. But not this time. The national anthem has been the most sensitive issue the league has dealt with over the past two years; so instead, Goodell stopped the open forum and called for the owners to go around the room and, one by one, make their points. This is where the league’s anthem policy was born, amid two common themes consistent among the 32 takes.
NFL got polling data on Kaepernick, sources told Yahoo Sports | Yahoo! Sports
Four months into quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s 2017 free agency and heading into intensified criticism from President Donald Trump over player protests, the NFL used a Washington consulting firm to ask Americans whether Kaepernick should have been signed by a team, according to sources familiar with the league’s research.
Expect contempt from NFL players over new anthem policy | Yahoo! Sports (Terez Paylor)
What the NFL did on Wednesday with the announcement of its new national anthem policy was the equivalent of what your mom did with you when you were sick as a kid, and forced you to down that miserable purple cough syrup:
Open your mouth and say, “Ahh!”
Redskins takeaways: Observations from Wednesday’s practice | The Washington Post
Smith looked like a veteran quarterback with 13 years of NFL experience on the resume. He’s the clear-cut leader of the offense and was efficient with his throws and decision-making. The play of the day may have been a connection with Richardson for about 45 yards as the receiver showed off his speed by running right by rookie Greg Stroman down the sideline. Smith threw the same perfect deep ball that he often threw to speedster Tyreek Hill in Kansas City last season.
