With Chiefs’ general manager Brett Veach, head coach Andy Reid and all of their staffs in attendance, the indoor field was home to 26 area NFL hopefuls going through workouts led by the Chiefs’ coaching staff as part of their local Pro Day.
These are players who either grew up in the Kansas City metro area or went to college in the area, and who were invited by the Chiefs to come and work out.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid has promoted special teams coach Dave Toub to assistant head coach, the club announced Friday.
Toub, 55, will retain his special teams duties.

According to Mike Jurecki, this is the first visit since the start of free agency Williams has had. Starting the final six games of the season for Arizona, he rushed for a respectable 426 yards after David Johnson and Adrian Peterson both suffered injuries that ended their season.
