With the fourth pick in the 2018 AP Mock Draft, Cleveland Browns GM
John Dorsey DiehardArrowheadChopper selects …
Penn State RB Saquon Barkley
With Chubb already off the board to the Giants, the Browns look to add the best overall player in the 2018 NFL Draft. Barkley is an every-down workhorse capable of doing everything from lining up out wide to returning kickoffs. The punishing 230-pound beast pairs an absolutely abusive style of running with quick feet, excellent vision, great hands and 4.4 speed. He is considered by many to be the most physically gifted running back since Bo Jackson. With the pairing of Darnold and Barkley, the Browns should be formidable for many years to come.

With the fifth pick in the 2018 AP Mock Draft, Denver Broncos GM Mitko selects ...
Notre Dame G Quenton Nelson
Oh, how times have changed. The last time I selected for the Broncos in the AP Mock Draft they were picking 31st, and now here they are. All the way down at No. 5.
Not much has changed in terms of team needs for the Broncos since that time. Their biggest holes are still offensive line and quarterback. QB was still a strong consideration for this pick even though GM John Elway gave $25 million guaranteed to journeyman Case Keenum. Cane Keenum? Crash Nissan? Even if that’s the case, John Elway has already made his offseason strategy pretty clear:
Step 1: Find a QB that reminds him of himself.
Step 2: Try to mimic the strongest part of a Chiefs’ team from years past. (E.g. Derrick Thomas-Von Miller, watered down/injured Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry-T.J. Ward).
I truly believe that the Broncos plan on rolling with Case Keenum for the next two years, and that means Elway is onto step two. This time it’s the 2003 Chiefs offensive line.
That’s why they will select the best guard available. A pick that will leave Denver fans banging their heads on a post, just like that Cairo Santos game-winner. DOINK!
