The best options for the Chiefs season opener opponent

The Kansas City Chiefs will likely see their 2018 schedule released in April. That’s when the league typically releases the schedule each year (with it being more and more a primetime event).

We know who the Chiefs will play, as in their 2018 opponents, which I listed below. We don’t know the order in which they will play.

I got to thinking today, who do you want the Chiefs to play in the season opener this year?

Last year, it was the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots. This year, they play the Patriots again but not the Super Bowl-winning Eagles.

This year, my first choice would be the Rams. That game is in Mexico City so don’t count on it being the opener but in terms of the most exciting matchups the Rams game is the one I’m looking forward to the most.

The second one would be the Patriots or Steelers. Once again, they’re the peak of the AFC and the Chiefs Super Bowl hopes will go through them.

The third one would be the Browns. Who wouldn’t take an easy win in Week 1?

Who do you want the Chiefs to open the season against?

Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers

Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks
