The Kansas City Chiefs will be receiving a weekend visitor. It was reported previously in the week that the Chiefs were on free agent DE Muhammad Wilkerson’s visit list after the Packers and Saints earlier this week and now ESPN’s Josina Anderson is reporting the Chiefs visit will be happening today (Saturday).
Free agent DE Muhammad Wilkerson told me yesterday evening that he is "visiting the #Chiefs (today)."

This is interesting. He has now visited two teams - the Packers and Saints - and left without a contract. What’s the deal there? It’s usually money. The Chiefs have the space to make some moves once all their trades and other roster moves are processed and if he’s visiting the Chiefs obviously think they can sign him.
Wilkerson and Chris Jones would certainly provide some of the force up front the Chiefs are looking for. There could be spots along the defensive line open after Bennie Logan hits free agency and the Chiefs decide whether to keep or cut DE Allen Bailey ($6 million cap savings).
I’m intrigued by Wilkerson. A strong interior pass rush can cause a lot of problems.
