Chiefs left guard Cam Erving ruled out of Ravens game Sunday

The Chiefs’ left guard left the game in the second quarter.

Kansas City Chiefs left guard Cam Erving injured his knee during the second quarter of the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Veteran Jeff Allen, who the Chiefs brought back earlier this season, went into the game for Erving. It’s worth noting Allen came in last week against the Raiders when left tackle Eric Fisher checked out for a few plays.

The Chiefs later announced Erving would not return. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will likely provide some kind of update on the left guard after the game.

Tyreek Hill and Spencer Ware both suffered injuries in the game but returned to the lineup.
