With his second touchdown of the game, an 89-yard pass to Demarcus Robinson, quarterback Patrick Mahomes became the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50 touchdowns in one season. Mahomes’ earlier touchdown was a 67-yard pass to Tyreek Hill.

The second score put the Chiefs up 28-3 over the Oakland Raiders in the third quarter.

The only other quarterbacks to eclipse the 50-touchdown mark in a single season are Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Mahomes also broke the 5,000-yard passing mark against the Raiders. He is just the sixth quarterback in NFL history to do so.
