Chiefs’ Thursday injury report vs. Seahawks: Mitch Schwartz returns!

Schwartz returning to practice is a bigger deal than you’d think given he has never missed a snap in his career.

Each practice day, the Kansas City Chiefs will release an official injury report leading up to the next game. The Chiefs travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football this weekend.

Here is the Chiefs’ second official injury report of the week:

Some notes

  • Chiefs right tackle Mitchell Schwartz returned to practice after missing on Wednesday. This, of course, is a big deal given his 7,000-plus-career snap streak. Schwartz has never missed a game in his career. Cornerback Kendall Fuller and wide receiver Sammy Watkins missed practice for the second consecutive day.
  • Safety Eric Berry was a full participant in Chiefs practice for the second day in a row. That’s a good sign. More on Berry’s upcoming snap count against the Seahawks here.
  • After missing practice Wednesday, Doug Baldwin was a full participant for the Seahawks.
  • It’s looking more and more like the Seahawks will be down to their third option at right guard Sunday night with DJ Fluker missing practice again. Safety Bradley McDougald is another notable name that missed for the Seahawks.
