For a few weeks in the preseason and the beginning of the regular season, the talk regarding Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had much to do with what his nickname would be.

And while Patty Cakes didn’t necessarily stick, Mahomes and his people are hoping that Patty Flakes might. A Mahomes-themed cereal called Patty Flakes is in the works, according to AdAge.com.
AdAge: Mahomes, 23, is preparing to launch a signature breakfast cereal, “Patty Flakes,” the second-year player’s agent, Leigh Steinberg, said on the Bloomberg Business of Sports podcast.
...
“As soon as the off-season hits, we’ve got a load of different deals ready for public airing,” Leigh Steinberg, Mahomes’ agent said, rattling off categories like automotive, apparel and soft drinks without being specific. “The goal has been to keep him off billboards and television in Kansas City and allow his play on the field to develop.”
The days of having to grill up breakfast prior to games at Arrowhead Stadium are over.
Just pack a little milk amongst your beverages in the cooler and you’ll be good to go.
