The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactives list for tonight’s game with the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium.
AND ERIC BERRY IS ACTIVE FOR THE GAME!
Here are the #Chiefs’ official inactives tonight vs. #Chargers:
— BJ Kissel (@ChiefsReporter) December 13, 2018
WR Sammy Watkins
RB Spencer Ware
OL Cam Erving
WR Gehrig Dieter
OL Kahlil McKenzie
TE Deon Yelder
LB Tanoh Kpassagnon
We already expected Sammy Watkins and Spencer Ware and Cam Erving to be inactive tonight, so no big surprise there. The presence of Gehrig Dieter on the inactives list could signify two different things — that the Chiefs are confident Tyreek Hill will be a full go tonight, and that recently-signed Kelvin Benjamin can be a contributor. Tanoh Kpassagnon being inactive is a bit of a surprise, too. Deon Yelder and Kahlil McKenzie round out the list.
For the Chargers, both the primary and backup running backs — Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler — are inactive for the game. This was pretty much as expected, too.
Our #LACvsKC inactives:
— Los Angeles Chargers (@Chargers) December 13, 2018
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Austin Ekeler
DE Chris Landrum
C Cole Toner
TE Sean Culkin
WR Dylan Cantrell
NT Brandon Mebane
Without Gordon and Ekeler, the Chargers will be likely be starting Justin Jackson at running back.
