Given all the injuries and rumors ahead of Thursday Night Football featuring the Kansas City Chiefs taking the Los Angeles Chargers, we’ve decided to throw up this one-page tracker of everything that is coming through from around the web.
UPDATE: 5:06 p.m. Arrowhead Time
Just spoke to Melvin Gordon, he said he was feeling alright but when I asked him if he was gonna give a shot tonight, he shook his head sideways, indicating a no...

UPDATE: 10:46 a.m. Arrowhead Time
SOURCE: Spencer Ware will be OUT for tonight’s game against LAC. Expect Charcandrick West to get 8-12 touches tonight.
— Carrington Harrison (@cdotharrison) December 13, 2018
Analysis: If Harrison’s report proves true, it will be the first touches for West since December 24, 2017, when the Chiefs took on the Miami Dolphins.
UPDATE: 9:51 a.m. Arrowhead Time
#Chiefs S Eric Berry, who will get one of the loudest ovations we’ve heard at Arrowhead Stadium tonight, is going to start and be on a pitch count, I’m told. He’ll take it slow — not having played since Week 1 of 2017 — but KC’s leader on D is back from Achilles & heel injuries.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 13, 2018
Analysis: This isn’t all that surprising. Chiefs defensive coordinator Bob Sutton told us last week that when Eric Berry returns, he’d be on a snap count. That return will be Thursday night. “I would think so, but we haven’t even got that far. I want to see where he’s at,” Sutton said when asked about a pitch count last week, headed into Chiefs-Ravens. “But yeah. Most of the time when those guys come back, we trust them a lot and we kind of a keep close [eye], because sometimes they just think they can keep going, too, and I’m sure whenever he gets out there he’ll feel that way. But yeah. We try to be smart with him.”
UPDATE: 9:16 a.m. Arrowhead Time
The #Chargers are promoting RB Troymaine Pope from the practice squad for tonight’s game against the #Chiefs, source said. He’s bounced around, waiting for an opportunity, and the knee injury to Melvin Gordon paved the way. Obviously not a great sign for Gordon.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 13, 2018
Analysis: This means that Melvin Gordon must be a true game-time decision. Rapoport later added that Pope is insurance. If Gordon is ruled out, RB Justin Jackson (60 offensive snaps) will get the start.
UPDATE: Wednesday confirmations from ESPN
