Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins’ status for Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals is in question, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Watkins is “dealing with pain in his foot.”
#Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins was dealing with pain in his foot after Sunday’s game and he had an MRI, source said. While it’s not a serious injury, it may impact his status for Sunday as KC plans for the long run.

Watkins suffered the foot injury late in the game against the Cleveland Browns, one the Chiefs eventually won handily, 37-21.
If there is potential for Watkins’ foot injury to worsen, the game against the Arizona Cardinals would be the one to miss. The Cardinals currently have a 2-6 record.
The game following Arizona at Arrowhead Stadium is the Monday night showdown with the Los Angeles Rams, and if you’re Andy Reid, there is no doubt you’ll want your offense firing on all cylinders for that one.
We will hopefully hear an update on Watkins Wednesday at 11:40 a.m., when Reid speaks to the media.
Watkins has 39 catches for 515 yards and three touchdowns this season.
