Sources from each team have told Yahoo Sports that there has been serious hand-wringing over the state of the field since a Shakira concert at the venue on Oct. 11, which left the grass surface in significant disrepair.

Fantasy owners with the foresight to draft Mahomes before the season are likely already dreaming about championships. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback has 31 passing touchdowns and a league-leading 3,150 passing yards. His 263.8 fantasy points is topped through 10 games only by Tom Brady in 2007 (283.2) and Aaron Rodgers in 2011 (270.3).

AFC: Who’s in

1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-1)

The Chiefs didn’t cover, but they did take care of business handily against the Cardinals, winning by double digits at home and putting themselves in excellent position to secure the No. 1 overall seed. Worth noting, though, they did lose to the Patriots, which hurts them in terms of tiebreakers (although Tennessee helped them in a big way on Sunday) and they do play the Rams this coming week, with the Chargers nipping on their heels in the division.

He is projected to be the #60 running back which is exactly what the market sets his value at. Owned in 25% of CBS Fantasy leagues he is projected to average 4.4 fantasy points per week. Even though his projected rank matches his market based rank there are running backs to avoid who are projected for fewer points with a higher expectation.

The Chiefs are finally playing team football, a scary thought for the rest of the league

Patrick Mahomes will continue to be the headline for the Chiefs this year — and for many years beyond. But it was fascinating to hear how the other players on the team talked about Sunday’s 26-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals. To them, this isn’t just about Patrick Mahomes. It’s about a team with a common goal — one that just happens to have an MVP candidate suiting up at quarterback every week.
