Anthony Hitchens and Frank Zombo injured Sunday

The linebackers suffered injuries during the Chiefs’ Sunday matchup with the Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Chiefs announced two linebacker injuries midway through the fourth quarter of their game with the Denver Broncos on Sunday, via their official Twitter account.

Inside linebacker Anthony Hitchens is doubtful to return due to a rib injury, while outside linebacker Frank Zombo is out due to a hamstring injury.

Rookie Ben Niemann entered the game for Hitchens.
