ESPN’s Louis Riddick says he’d give up a whole team for Patrick Mahomes

Golic and Wingo posed the question to Riddick.

On ESPN’s Golic and Wingo Show, Mike Golic and Trey Wingo posed a question to Louis Riddick:

“What players in the NFL would you give up four first-round draft picks for?”

This came after the ESPN report that the Houston Rockets reportedly offered four future first-round picks for Jimmy Butler.

Golic and Wingo knew, of course, at least one answer Riddick might give, because Riddick is well-known for his advocacy on behalf of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Still, Riddick’s answer was surprising.

RIDDICK: “I’d give up all 52 players on the roster for my boy Ferrari (Patrick Mahomes)... Look, he’s going to do some historic stuff. I’m just telling you. As long as Andy (Reid) stays there and as long as they continue to have guys around him like he has around him right now, the sky’s the limit for this guy. I told you. I was giddy about this guy and you know what? They feel they’re just scratching the surface. Wait until they can actually start playing defense and getting off the field on third down and he has more cracks at it.”

What about you? Would you give four first-round picks to get Patrick Mahomes? How about another NFL player?

Or, how about the opposite? Would you take four first-round picks in exchange for Mahomes?
