Some notes
- Mitch Morse is still in the concussion protocol and has officially been ruled out, so Austin Reiter will step in at center for the Chiefs.
- Broncos running back Royce Freeman, who had eight rushes for 67 yards in the first game against the Chiefs, has been ruled out, meaning that Phillip Lindsay will get the bulk of carries on Sunday. Outside linebacker Shane Ray, a Kansas City native, won’t play against the Chiefs.
- Despite Von Miller being officially questionable to play against Kansas City, he will play, according to Broncos head coach Vance Joseph (via Nicki Jhabvala). Inside linebacker Brandon Marshall and center Nico Falah are also questionable.
