If Patrick Mahomes learned one thing in this game, it’s that you can’t make mistakes against the Patriots. The Chiefs quarterback was nearly flawless with 352 passing yards and four touchdowns, but he also threw two interceptions. The Chiefs got a huge game from their dynamic duo of Tyreek Hill (142 receiving yards, three touchdowns) and Kareem Hunt (185 yards from scrimmage), but it wasn’t enough because the Chiefs defense couldn’t stop the Patriots.

It started slowly, with the Kansas City Chiefs trading field goals for New England Patriotstouchdowns, with the Chiefs trailing 24-9 at the half. But in the second half, the Chiefs clawed their way back, and lost to the Patriots 43-40 on a last-second field goal by Stephen Gostowski.
