The return of the Kansas City Chiefs rushing attack means another award for RB Kareem Hunt. The NFL announced that Hunt has been named the offensive rookie of the month.

Hunt’s yardage in December: 35, 91, 155, 116, 40.
He wrapped up the NFL rushing title last week with one 35-yard carry against the Broncos. It’s not a coincidence that the resurgence of the Chiefs offense is timed with the resurgence of Kareem Hunt and the running game.
For those wondering if he will be the NFL’s rookie of the year — I think he will be — it’s a good sign then that he has two of the four rookie of the month awards this season. His competition would appear to be Alvin Kamara of the Saints but give me Kareem The Dream.
