The Kansas City Chiefs made another roster move on Wednesday morning by putting CB Phillip Gaines on IR and signing DT Stefan Charles.

The Chiefs said that Gaines dislocated his elbow in the Broncos game last week so I figured IR was his destination. This means his season and possibly his Chiefs career is over considering he is not under contract next season.
The Chiefs are banged up on the defensive line with Rakeem Nunez-Roches and Bennie Logan recently dealing with injuries so that’s why they signed a defensive tackle, I’m guessing. Charles is another Canadian-born player who came into the league undrafted in 2013. He has spent time on the Jaguars, Bills and Lions in his career. He looks to be a massive man at 6’5 and 320 pounds. I am assuming he will at best offer rotational depth along the defensive line.
