Mitch Morse is progressing through his foot injury

Kansas City Chiefs starting center Mitch Morse is progressing through his foot injury, per a boomerang on his official Instagram account (is a sentence I just typed—what’s up 2018?).

The Chiefs placed Morse on the injured reserve list in mid-December, ending his season. Morse originally injured his foot Week 2 and then re-injured it Week 13.

Morse writes, “Finally off the scooter and allowed to walk for the first time in 6 weeks!” on the post.

The Chiefs never released details on Morse’s treatment, and I’m no LDT but going from scooter-only to walking is what Dr. Sweeney reads as a good sign.
