Chiefs playoff game weather will warm up for the Titans

It’s currently one degree out as I type this — it just says ONE! — in Kansas City where we have seen some of the coldest temperatures in recent memory. It’s been negative degrees over the past few days when it’s not warming up to five or six degrees, which is like beach weather at this point.

The good news is that this extreme weather is not expected to stick around for the Chiefs playoff game Saturday against the Titans. I looked at the KMBC weather predictions and next Saturday has a high of 41 and a low of 34 with no rain or snow.

“Our fans are a factor,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said this week. “When you are dealing with the Chiefs, you are dealing with all of us. That is kind of a neat thing. Put on your warm clothes and come on out. We need everybody. We appreciate all that. We appreciate the support all the way through the season, even during the times we weren’t playing so well.”

A secondary ticket agent emailed me to say that the Chiefs playoff ticket prices are relatively cheap right now compared to others.
