KC Chiefs DE Chris Jones’s season ended on a low note when he left the Chiefs playoff game with a torn MCL, which requires surgery. We can confirm he has had surgery because Stone Cold Jones posted this on Instagram last night:

“You’re here live, post-surgery, pre-surgery, I meant,” Jones said. “We’re fittin’ to attack this. Ready for the upcoming year ... The best year is yet to come, 2018.”
He said he would be back this summer. Reports say it’s an 8-10 week surgery which is good timing because he won’t miss any of the offseason program if that’s the case (that usually starts in April).
This will be the second offseason in a row that Jones has had surgery. He underwent a knee procedure prior to training camp last year. Hopefully the timing of this surgery doesn’t affect his season.
