Elephant in the Kingdom

OK, are we all just in shock and not knowing what to say? Or am I the only die hard chiefs fan that is outraged by the disrespect shown to our flag shown by 22, 27, and 87? May have been others, but I saw those. I'm not wanting to debate racism, BLM, or any of that. I am simply saddened to the point of outrage that our flag is disrespected now by our beloved Chiefs.

I don't want to hear that they don't mean disrespect, that's ludicrous. It's equivalent to the wife beater who then says he didn't mean it. The anthem is simply not the appropriate venue to resister your complaint with society. The flag represents our beautifully imperfect and free country. the anthem is one moment of time that we say thanks to those that have laid their sacrifices at the alter of freedom. Freedom that give athletes the right to earn more in 3 hours than most of us will earn this year. It does not fly for Trump, the police, fireman, or any other group. It stands for us ALL, and we should ALL stand for it!

No bold statements about never going to another chiefs game, won't be burning my chiefs gear anytime soon. But I am suspending my support of the Chiefs and the NFL until this issue is addressed. My seats will sit empty at Arrowhead as my form of silent protest I guess. But I am hoping that smarter cooler heads will prevail and this situation will be corrected soon. Any thoughts form the rest of you?
