The Kansas City Chiefs have the best tight end in the NFL in Travis Kelce as well as Demetrius “I catch TDs” Harris so they’re looking good at tight end. They’re always staying prepared in case of an injury and worked out Jace Amaro earlier this week, according to old friend Field Yates of ESPN.

Amaro was a 2014 second round pick out of Texas Tech. For his career he has 41 receptions for 404 yards and two touchdowns which is a good month for Kelce. Amaro could be one of those guys that you keep on speed dial in case Ross Travis goes down or for whatever reason you want to look at another tight end. I can’t see anyone out there beating out Harris for the No. 2 tight end job barring an injury.
In other tight end news, it was reported that old friend Gavin Escobar worked out for the Panthers this week (along with Amaro).
