I didn’t think it was possible after the Chiefs 15-point win over New England but the Football Power Index (FPI) was so impressed with New England’s 36-20 win over the Saints that they bumped the Patriots ahead of the Chiefs. this week.

Yes, the Chiefs beat the Patriots. They should be ahead of the Patriots. However, the Patriots have been a dynasty for almost 20 years at this point. Because of that people are willing to put them ahead of a team like the Chiefs who have been merely good for a few years now.
