Chiefs’ Bennie Logan is back to practice, good sign for him playing vs. Eagles

The Kansas City Chiefs saw a scare on Wednesday when defensive lineman Bennie Logan wasn’t practicing but Thursday brought good news. The Chiefs say that Logan is practicing on Thursday, which has to be considered a good sign for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

Logan is working on a knee injury. That he’s practicing shows he has a shot to play so that’s a good thing. I’m sure Logan is happy to be practicing too because the Chiefs are facing his former team this weekend. No matter who you are, you circle the game against your former team.

The Chiefs have some defensive line depth if he couldn’t go. Rakeem Nunez-Roches could play some nose tackle as could Roy Miller. There are backups but I also thought Logan had some nice push in the pocket last week against the Patriots. I would love for Eagles fans, who saw Logan as a run stopper and not a pass rusher, to see him rushing the passer well.
