Shortly before the season the Philadelphia Eagles traded with the Buffalo Bills to acquire cornerback Ronald Darby. You might remember him as the guy that Pro Football Focus tried to say was a better rookie corner than Marcus Peters. Well, Darby was traded in year three while Peters was busy being avoided by the greatest quarterback ever. Advantage: Peters.
Anyway, enough of that. The reason I mention Darby is that the Chiefs will NOT be seeing him next week. He was injured in the Eagles season opener and as it turns out he will be out for a while with this ankle injury.
#Eagles CB Ronald Darby is out 4-6 weeks with an dislocated ankle, sources say. No major ligament damage. Surprisingly good news.

When a dislocated ankle is good news ... it could’ve been worse, apparently. That’s too bad for Philly who needs all the corners they can get against the suddenly explosive Chiefs offense.
