The KC Star’s Terez Paylor put out a prediction for KC Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill this year: 75 catches as a receiver.
That would certainly qualify him as a full time receiver and not the part receiver, part return guy, part gadget guy that he was last year.
He had 61 receptions last year so 75 actually isn’t that big of a jump up. Frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tyreek had more receptions than that. That doesn’t feel like I’m hyping him up too much, especially after they lost Jeremy Maclin.
If Tyreek is healthy, five catches a game is 80 receptions for the year. The Chiefs are also taking him off kick returns to use him more on offense. He had 61 catches last year while playing about half the snaps so I will go over 75 catches.
