The Kansas City Chiefs are missing a number of starters from Saturday’s training camp practice.
Travis Kelce is once again not in attendance for the second day in a row. Chiefs coach Andy Reid said his knee flared up a little bit - the same knee that he had surgery on his rookie year. Reid said he thinks Kelce will be fine but I’ll admit that I’m concerned. Kelce is one those irreplaceable guys so this is a big deal until the Chiefs definitively say it’s not.
Chiefs new nose tackle Bennie Logan has also left practice. The Chiefs haven’t announced any injury with him yet so we don’t know the deal is. (Update: Chiefs say it’s a “sore knee” so...)

Starting cornerback Steven Nelson is also out. He left yesterday with groin spasms. He plays a ton of snaps inside and outside so he’s not one you want to be missing. I suppose it gives those behind in the corner competition some snaps. Terrance Mitchell is also not out there today with a hamstring injury so that’s two of their top three corners that are out.
Other injuries:
Charcandrick West (ankle) will give it another go today. Terrance Mitchell, Josh Mauga and Chris Jones are all working off to the side.
